Blood Bike Volunteers
Become a Blood Runner
As a member of Blood Bike North West you will work on a shift basis with the rest of our dedicated team. You will be responsible for the care of the bike whenever you are on call, and so you must have a safe place to store it. You must be willing to ride your Blood Bike in all weather conditions (except snow and ice) & as safety comes first you will be expected to wear your High-Vis uniform whenever you are on call. We need Blood Runners who are ready to commit their time and ready to go at a moments notice!
Blood Runner Specifications

Become a Co-Ordinator
Co-Ordinators are some of the most vital members of the Blood Bike North West team. As the voice of Blood Bike North West you will be the first in contact with hospitals when they ring in. You will be in charge of contacting the Blood Runner who is best equipped and passing on the details of the phone call. Our Blood Runner will let you know when he/she is leaving home, at the pick-up destination, at the drop-off destination and when they return home.
Become a Fundraiser
We are constantly fundraising and arranging events to raise money at Blood Bike North West. Events throughout the year include everything from Bike Runs, Bucket Collections & Bag Packing. Fundraisers are always welcome whether it's just a great fundraising idea or a helping hand.
Anyone is welcome to come on board and help at our fundraising days - young or old, we would love to hear from you!
